BlueShift Internet was started over 5 years ago, in Taunton, Somerset and was originally a partnership between Matthew Baker and David Jones. Over the years BlueShift Internet has developed and grown, expanding to include clients from Aberdeen to Oxford and Staines to Exmoor.
Whilst expanding, staff at BlueShift Internet have not forgotten their commitment to the local community. Based in Taunton we not only provide services to hundreds of local business web sites, but also support local Young Enterprise and charities. We are proud of our support for our valued local clients.
We show our commitment to the above values by the following specific actions we have taken:
Geographic Number: We will provide a geographic (ie. 01823) or mobile telephone contact number to all clients. This means that there is no premium rate call charges or other connection fee to speak to us, except the usual cost of the call.
Totally inclusive prices: Our prices are all-inclusive with no hidden extras. If we quote a price then that is what you pay. Web site design / construction fees include all photographs, design work, text, links, colours and logos. Obviously you can also add to your package with additional services at any time for an add-on fee.
Integrity and confidence: You can be 100% sure that BlueShift Internet will only provide services for safe, moral and legal web sites which have no adult content. We will not disclose any of your details to any third party and we are registered under the Data Protection Act.
Speed and reliability: We are sure that you will be happy with the speed and reliability of your web site. We even offer a premium service to upgrade your web site hosting giving it either 5 (premium service) or 10 (platinum service) times the available resources, which is ideal for busy/popular and large sites.
Full customer support: You can contact us for support by telephone, fax, E-Mail, or mobile (including text/SMS messaging). We will always reply quickly, efficiently and will solve your query in a constructive, timely and professional manner. You can upgrade this to include other office IT support for an extra fee if required.
Quality control and project management: Before we complete any web site or other service, we will endeavour to provide a full quality control audit of all work. Throughout the work we will ensure that you are allocated a dedicated advisor to act as a project manager for your web site design services. They will work with you to help develop the service that matches your requirements.
Flexibility: We are flexible and happy to respond to your needs, whenever or whatever you may require. We have a fully open terms, conditions and privacy policy available from our web site.
Meetings encouraged: We encourage you to meet with us to discuss any key points, issues, queries or concerns you may have about any of our services as a potential, existing or repeat customer.
Customer feedback service: You can contact us at any time with your feedback which will always be welcomed.
Always expanding: In September 2003, we expanded our client base yet again, this time including many clients from the Oxford area.
In May 2004 we achieved the milestone of opening our new town centre office at Victoria House, Victoria Street, Taunton. With the town centre office located conveniently between our registered address and the main central business district of Taunton, our clients can be served even more effectively by attending if needed and by staff using the offices as a base for our business activities.
From 2008 the Web-Design UK brand is operated by Andrew Sweeting and IT, CRM and broadband services operated by Matthew Baker/QuantumShift Enterprises Ltd.
